Working style
Everyone has their own way of doing things, right? Over the years I've worked for compaines where I've had to learn new skills, adapt my style and do things out of my comfort zone in order to help reach the goals of my team.
I have been in positions where producing nothing but wireframes and clickable prototypes was the primary focus. There have also been times when I have been responsible for implementing my own designs, actively fixing UI inconsistencies, deploying my own code and teaching frontend developers about css standards and the importance of pixel perfect implementation.
Then there have been roles where I've solely been responsible for creating clean UI designs using tools such as Sketch and handing them off for development.
I have experience of working with web applications such as Ruby on Rails, the ecommerce platform Shopify and creating templates using Liquid code. I have built, tested and almost had a nervous breakdown whilst creating email templates, and have good knowledge and experience of using the version control system, Git.
